This ultra-lightweight, flame-retardant speaker is designed for a 70-volt paging system in aircraft. Rather than a heavy transformer, the design utilizes a high-impedance voice coil and resistors to allow multiple power taps. It's an ideal solution for high-intelligibility communications in applications where weight and space must be minimized.
